ProPilot Assist

ProPILOT Assist is a hands-on driver assist system that combines Nissan’s Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist technologies and includes a stop and hold function that can bring the vehicle to a full stop, hold in place and can bring you back up to speed when traffic starts moving again. ProPILOT also syncs with the navigation system providing additional information to better predict the freeway ahead. ProPilot uses radar and cameras to “see” the road in real-time.

Available in the All-New Nissan Ariya EV (coming to Nissan City in 2022), ProPILOT Assist 2.0 will allow hands-off single-lane driving, as well as hands-on guided lane changing abilities.

Intelligent Braking

Automatic Emergency Braking uses radar technology to track the vehicle in front of you and can give you audible and visual warnings and apply braking to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a frontal collision. 

Available Rear Automatic Braking monitors the area directly behind your vehicle for stationary items you might not see. If you fail to stop, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a rear collision or lessen the severity of an impact.

A helpful hand on the highway

Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention: Changes lanes with confidence. This feature spots a vehicle in the blind spot area, and gives you a nudge back if you start to move over.

Intelligent Lane Intervention: Helps to keep you between the lines if you start to drift out of your lane.

Parking made easy

Who loves to park – NOT! Nissan is all over it, with great features that take the work out of parking.

The ProPILOT Park system is a package of assist controls that work together for convenience and safety.

• Rear Cross-Traffic Alert – When backing out of a parking space, Rear Cross Traffic Alert makes it easy by watching the area around the rear of the vehicle and can warn you about detected approaching vehicles you might not see. 
• Nissan Intelligent Around View Monitor – This is major cool😎. Tight parking space? Now you have a simulated bird’s eye view of your surroundings, so you can see what you might have missed.
• Nissan Intelligent Backup Intervention – Looks out behind you and can automatically brakes for objects you can’t see.

Nissans are all about courtesy on the road

Available High Beam Assist automatically switches to low-beam headlights when it detects a vehicle ahead, and turns the high beams back on when you need them.

Available Traffic Sign Recognition keeps you up to date with the latest speed limit by detecting road signs as you go.

A helpful hand when you want it

When you’re on a steep hill, there’s always that car behind that’s too close for comfort. Thankfully, Hill Start Assist can hold brake pressure for a few seconds to help keep you from rolling backwards.

Enjoy hugging curves with handling that feels effortless. Intelligent Trace Control reads the situation and, if needed, can brake each wheel individually to help you steer smoothly through the corners. Intelligent Trace Control enhances the great cornering and tracking that you already experience in a Nissan.

Bump? What bump? Active Ride Control can automatically apply the brakes and adjust motor torque to smooth out your ride, turning those mountains into molehills.
